Community Highlights
Student Support & Enrichment Across ThrivePoint Campuses
This month, ThrivePoint school counselors visited campuses across Arizona to lead meaningful discussions with students about healthy relationships and conflict resolution. These sessions encouraged students to build self-awareness, practice strong communication skills, and learn respectful ways to navigate challenges—important life skills that support both academic success and personal growth. Providing students with social-emotional support is an important part of the ThrivePoint experience, helping them feel confident and prepared both inside and outside the classroom.
Meanwhile, students at our Yuma campus had the opportunity to explore creativity and culture through a field trip to the Yuma Art Center. The visit allowed students to experience art and creative expression while connecting with local community resources. Opportunities like this show how learning can extend beyond the classroom, inspiring students to discover new interests and perspectives.
From student support services to hands-on learning experiences, ThrivePoint campuses continue to create opportunities that help students grow academically, socially, and creatively.
ThrivePoint in the Community
This month, ThrivePoint staff were out in the community connecting with families and sharing what makes our school model unique and accessible for students across Arizona.
At our Buckeye Learning Center, Mr. Roebuck and the campus team participated in the Metro District Superhero Saturday. This free, family-friendly event featured cosplayers, a costume contest, acrobatic performances, food trucks, and more. Hosted by a local police lieutenant, the event brought families together for a day of fun, connection, and community pride. It was also a great opportunity for our team to meet local families and share how ThrivePoint supports students through flexible, personalized learning.
Meanwhile, our Avondale campus was proud to represent ThrivePoint at the Mercados and Melodies family fair. This free community event focused on health, wellness, and music while creating a welcoming space for families to gather. Staff connected with attendees, answered questions, and shared how ThrivePoint’s flexible, student-centered approach helps students stay on track, catch up with credit recovery, or get ahead toward graduation.
We love being part of the communities we serve and look forward to continuing to connect with families throughout the year.
Celebrating Student Achievement with Community Support
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers for generously donating meal vouchers to support our Student of the Month incentives across ThrivePoint campuses in Arizona. Community partnerships like this help us recognize and celebrate students who are working hard, showing dedication, and making positive progress in their academic journeys.
At ThrivePoint, recognizing student achievement is an important part of building motivation and celebrating the effort our students put into their education each day. These Student of the Month incentives highlight students who demonstrate commitment, perseverance, and a strong focus on their goals.
We are grateful to Raising Cane’s for supporting our students and helping us celebrate their success. Thank you for investing in our learners and strengthening the ThrivePoint community.
