Community Highlights

Metro District Fun Run

This month, the Metro Campus proudly represented ThrivePoint at the Metro District Fun Run, bringing together students, staff, and families for a morning filled with movement, school spirit, and community connection. Events like the Metro District Fun Run highlight the importance of student wellness, teamwork, and staying active—values that ThrivePoint encourages across all of our campuses.

Students and staff came out ready to participate, whether they were running, walking, or cheering on their classmates from the sidelines. The event created a positive and energetic atmosphere where our school community could connect outside the classroom while celebrating healthy habits and school pride. Our students demonstrated incredible enthusiasm and determination throughout the run, showing what it means to represent ThrivePoint with pride.

Community events like this are an important part of the ThrivePoint experience. They give students opportunities to build friendships, develop confidence, and engage in activities that support both physical and social well-being. The Metro District Fun Run was also a great reminder of the strong support system that surrounds our students—from dedicated staff to encouraging families.

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported the event. Your energy and encouragement made the morning truly special. It was a fantastic way for the ThrivePoint Metro Campus community to come together before winter break, and we look forward to even more events that celebrate student success, school spirit, and community engagement.

Community Support Makes a Difference for ThrivePoint Students

ThrivePoint is grateful for the incredible generosity of NFL YET, which recently donated 10,000 pairs of shoes to students across the state of Arizona. Through this meaningful initiative, ThrivePoint received 500 pairs of shoes that will be distributed to our students just in time for the holiday season.

As a public charter high school serving students across Arizona, ThrivePoint is committed to supporting the whole student—both inside and outside the classroom. With multiple campuses throughout the state and flexible learning options including in-person, online, and hybrid high school programs, we work to ensure every student has the resources they need to succeed. Donations like this help remove barriers for students while reinforcing the strong community partnerships that support education across Arizona.

Many of our students come to ThrivePoint looking for a fresh start, opportunities for credit recovery, or flexible pathways that allow them to catch up, stay on track for graduation, or get ahead academically. Community support plays an important role in helping students feel confident, prepared, and ready to focus on their goals.

We are incredibly thankful to NFL YET for their generosity and commitment to supporting students across Arizona. This donation will make a real impact for our students as they continue their educational journey, and we are proud to be part of a community that believes in empowering young people to succeed.

Academic Updates & Highlights

ThrivePoint Student Takes the Next Big Step

We are excited to celebrate a major milestone for one of our students! Makayla from the Union Hills campus has officially been accepted to University of Nebraska–Lincoln—an incredible accomplishment and the Next Big Step in her academic journey.

Makayla’s acceptance reflects her hard work, perseverance, and commitment to her goals. Throughout her time at ThrivePoint, she has stayed focused on her future and taken advantage of the support available to her, including guidance from her Student Success Coach. ThrivePoint’s Student Success Coaches work closely with students to help them stay on track academically, plan for life after graduation, and build the confidence needed to pursue college and career opportunities.

With the encouragement of her campus community and the support of her Student Success Coach, Makayla has continued to push toward her goals and prepare for life after high school. Her acceptance to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln is a well-deserved recognition of that dedication.

Makayla’s achievement is a wonderful example of the success our students can reach when they combine determination with the personalized support ThrivePoint provides. We are incredibly proud of her and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes as she begins this exciting new chapter.

Congratulations, Makayla—your ThrivePoint family is celebrating with you!

Looking Ahead: A New Year at ThrivePoint

As we step into a new year, we’re excited for all the opportunities ahead for our students and school community. A new semester brings fresh goals, new experiences, and plenty of moments to celebrate together.

Throughout the semester, each campus will be hosting family and community events, giving students, families, and staff a chance to connect and spend time together outside of the classroom. These gatherings are a great way to build community and celebrate the progress our students are making.

Be sure to keep an eye out for upcoming invitations and announcements from your campus. We look forward to sharing these special moments with our ThrivePoint families!
