Standardized Testing

AzM2 is the statewide assessment given to all Arizona grade 10 students. While it was not given during the pandemic; we anticipate it will be available for all sophomores (Cohort 2023) this spring, 2021. All e-Institute students will be required to take AzM2 English Language Arts and Mathematics assessments.

AIMS Science is a Standards Based Assessment that measures student proficiency of the Arizona Academic Content Standards in Science. It meets federal requirements for student assessment. It is administered to students in Grades 4, 8, and high school. The AzSCI Field Test is scheduled to be administered to students in Grades 5, 8, and 11 (Cohort 2022) in the 2020-2021 school year. We will stay up to date with the testing schedule as we are informed by the Arizona Department of Education.

In addition to the mandated statewide testing, ThrivePoint teachers will give benchmark assessments throughout the school year. These benchmark assessments will ensure our students are making progress on key skills needed following graduation.
